So Easy

There’s nothing wrong with me.

There’s nothing wrong with you.

You asked me once what I don’t like

and I thought that was cruel.

Imagining that someone once

had made a list for you.

It breaks my heart and darling that is something I’d never do.

See I might have my flaws,

and you might have yours too

But in your eyes I see a light that shines on through and through.

Is this what they told us love could be?

Cause you make it all

so easy.

It feels like how twilight reflects onto snow.

It feels like I’m finally ready to go home.

I knew it when I saw you

wear that crimson dress.

With converse on and your hair down

I nearly lost my breath.

Is this what they told us love could be?

Cause you make it all

so easy.
