Here’s to the
happy people.
We can see
your sadness,
and we’re
with you.
Sincerely,
the sad ones.
P.S.
Happy New Year!
If
Americans
put
half as much
attention
into
Americas
actual problems
as this
Sesame Steet Grover
nonesense,
we
the people
might actually
be headed
somewhere,
but
America
you never cease to amaze me.
The other day
I had a good cry
but to tell you the truth,
I really don’t know why.
Perhaps it was the past
or future, or present
it doesn’t really matter though
just so long as it happened.
Because sometimes the universe
can make you feel ill.
Other times though it can give you a thrill.
And on those occasions where
the walls trap you in
it’s natural to flood your way
up and out again!
When
every
little
thing
is
on
your mind,
nothing
of
value
really
comes
to
mind,
like
twittling
two
thumbs,
sometimes
nothing
days
make for better tomorrows.
Some day
out of nowhere
your mood
will shift
from one hundred percent
to zero,
and you will feel sad
and you will feel weak
and you will feel vulnerable,
and that’s good
that’s natural
that’s life,
so get used to it,
it’s a beautiful thing
even when it hurts most.
The food.
The food.
Everybody’s so worried about the food.
It has to be hot.
It has to be ready.
Is there enough?
If only he opened his heart as much as his mouth,
she might have stayed.
I
miss
everything
and
nothing
about
you
and
most
times
that’s
the
hardest
part.
Happiness
& Love
killed
the poem.
As
for
the poet,
he lived
mourned his loss
then learned to love again.
Be cautious
of those people
having the best day,
they’re usually
hiding something
insidious.
Some times
a man
must
pull the wool
over his own eyes,
just to make it through the day.
