that Aries over-think
everything,
which explains
why I mostly
get nothing done.

Smoldering Hearts
Remember that
those special people,
the stars
who win awards,
they often look out
into a sea of smiling faces,
smoldering hearts,
and feel very much alone.

Decisions, decisions
take yourself out
of others decisions
and you just might find
the answers
you were looking for.
More Violence
When a person feels safe
they become defensive,
they fear the loss of control,
if pushed
violence is their only means,
a means which only provokes
more violence
violence that burns
violence that spreads
like wildfire.
Blame it on God
When something goes wrong
blame it on God.

blame it in God.
When a baby is born
blame it on God.
When a loved one dies
blame it on God.
Blame it on God
blame it on God.
Some of us get God
the rest of us get Cake.
The Craft
Tears well
followed by
a deep breath,
sadness
is a fine art,
and I’m still
after all these years
developing the craft.
